Throughout the season I’ll be picking out some of the best performances of the week, with a view to the 2024 Cheltenham Festival. With the likes of Stage Star, Facile Vega and Jonbon in action, it was always going to be a weekend to savour. Throw in the inaugural Navan Racing Festival and you’ve got a festive feast of National Hunt action for fans.
The Cheltenham November meeting is one of the highlights of the weekend and this year’s spectacle was no different, with a number of impressive performances at the home of jumps racing. It’s plastered all over the papers, there’s extensive coverage on television and it’s trending daily on social media. It’s mid-November and the C word is everywhere.
